This is just a funny joke...my little brother Tyler tries to claim he doesn't like Jayden and wants nothing to do with him....we got proof. he's actually smiling. Forever we will have proof that at that moment he sorta like his nephew


whenever we would feed Jayden cereal he would just hold his hands like that...that was before he would try to help us. I'm glad i got a few pics with him folding his hands. Since now he's getting more active he doesn't do the cute little things anymore. He's growing up way to fast. Before i know it he'll be walking and talking and ugh...Dating..

Its hard to believe in just a week he'll be 5 months old. Crazy. Well thats our update for now. Not a whole lot has happened but we have a house and crazy boy that thinks he's man of the house..which in a way he is. We love him anyways. He'll be just like his daddy...so please everyone pray for me...Hhahaha

Our House!

So we finally were able to get our house and we are all moved in, not settled in but moved. we are in the process of getting some painting done. Big project and sometimes hard to do with a 4 month old but its going along. We moved in the beginning of March and are absolutely loving it! Its so nice to have our own bedroom and jayden having his own bedroom. I think we all sleep a little bit better. Jayden seems to be loving it to. He seem to alreayd know he has his own room cuz once we walk it he's usually all smiles. Anyways..I'll post some pictures..,mind you the outside blue wont' always be that ugly color..trust me its not pretty. For those of you who like pink sorry, but our pink room is ugly. Make Pepto-bismol look really good. And it will soon be a different color.

3 months old...wow

So Jayden is already 3 months old. I just can't seem to remember where all that time went. Its amazing how time flies and before I know it he'll be walking. He is growing very quickly. About a week we weighed him and he is a little over 16 lbs now. Not sure how long he is i'll have to find a measuring tape and do that sometime. He thinks he needs to be standing all the time, but he's learning to talk to himself a little bit and kinda entertains himself. I've been bad and haven't posted a whole lot of pictures so i'll be putting quite a few on here for everyone.



Also me and Brandon have put a bid on a house and it was accepted and now we are waiting on the loan pretty much. so everyone cross their fingers that it'll work out okay. Hopefully we are in the house by the end of the month, they buyers for sure want it done no later than March 5, they are super desperated to get out of Utah and back to Oklahoma...crazy people. Well I'll try to keep this updated more and assuming we get the house will post pictures of the house. It's funny in the house there is a room that is beyond pink...like peptobismal pink, definetly the first thing to go even if i have to color it with a sharpie marker. Have a good day!

1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? I found out for sure when i went to the doctor about a kidney infection.
2- Who was with you? Brandon
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant? First a home test and then confirmed when i went to the clinic a few weeks later cuz of kidney infection
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? HOLY CRAP!!
5- Who was the first person you told? Brandon
6-Did you plan to get pregnant? Yes and No
7- Did you tell everyone else right away? Nope, we didn't tell anyone till Mothers day when i was a little over 13 weeks prego.
8-Was everybody happy for you? Yep, my mom freaked out...caught on camera forever!! LOL
9- Did you go out and celebrate? Kinda...
10- Did you want to find out the sex? for sure! I had to be prepared for the right sex...only so much nuetral stuff you can get.
11- What was the sex? Boy
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Yes
13- If yes, who? My sister-in laws and the girls at work threw me a suprise one as well.
14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby? Sadly, but i gave in and let him wear it at least once.
15- How much weight did you gain? Lets just say...enough :)
16- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Getting there slowly.
17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? Very sadly, my poor belly and thighs....sadness
18- What did you crave the most? Panda Express and Mcdonalds dbl cheese burgers.
19- Did you crave anything crazy? at one point i craved celery and carrots
20- Who or what got on your nerves the most? The people that just had to comment on the fact that I looked ready to pop when i still had 2 months to go, and the touching my belly...its mine not yours.
21- Were you married at the time? Yes
22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? the last month i started to show signs of Preclampsia and high blood pressure...supposedly.
23- Where were you when you went into labor? I didn't go into labor..i was induced.
24- Did your water break? Not on my own.
25- Who drove you to the hospital? Brandon drove me in so i could be induced at 7 on wednesday
26- Did you go early or late? well i was started a week early
27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth? Brandon and my mom and whole bunch of nurses coming in and out
28- How long were you in labor for? 3 Freaking days. 52 hours of labor in total....SUCKY
29- Did you have any drugs for the pain? You freaking bet....Epidural was great...when it was working..by the third day the normal stuff wasn't working they had to give me heavy duty pain killer stuff in my epidural.
30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section? Almost c-section but somehow i managed to push him out naturally (with drugs of course)
31- What was your first reaction after giving birth? I don't remember much of it sadly....i had lost a lot of blood and i passed out and was put on oxygen and i guess it was scary for a while.
32- How big was the baby(s)? 7lbs 2.6 oz. 21 inches long
33- Did your Husband cry? Not that i'm aware of...
34- What did you name the baby(s)? Jayden Dade Batty
35- Does her name have any significant meaning? We just liked the first name and his middle name is a combination of my dads name and his dads name. Wade and Dale
36- Did you have any visitors? Yep, quite a few people from the family and a few friends
37- Did the baby(s) have any complications? When i was in Pitosen induced 'labor' (or however you spell it) the contractions for a while where put a lot of pressure on his heart and made is sloooooooooow way down and sometimes stop a for a few seconds.
38- How old is your baby today? 3 months tommorrow.
39- When is the next one(s) coming? Not sure...we are planning on waiting for at least 1-2 years
40-If you could, would you do it all over again?In a heartbeat. my little man is definelty worth it.

1 . Where did you meet your husband?
In the commons one day at school because Riker waved him down from the top floor..and wham, instant friends it seems

2.How long did you date before you got married?
In high school we never really 'dated' but then when he got home from the day one till december 1st...so lets see a little over 5months

3. How long have you been married? 2 years and almost 2 months

4. What does he do that surprises you? Sends me random sweet texts at work and leaves messages on the mirror for me to see in the mornin.

5. What is your favorite feature of his? Well not gonna lie...his....eyes..thought i was gonna say butt huh..thats just a perk

6. What is his best quality? Being an awesome husband and is very creative

7. Does he have a nickname for you? Mostly just calls me megs or babe

8. What is his favorite food? Oh geez... He loves Wendy's :) and....ya i'm out.

9. What is his favorite sport? He wants it to be Off Roading

10. When and where did you first kiss? On our 4th date after he got home off hsi mission at like 4 in the morning in my front yard leaning against my car. A "whale of tale" LOL

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? we Love to go driving around and basically just hanging out with eachother

12. Do you have any children? Yep, one cute little boy thats almost 3 months ol

13. Does he have any hidden talents? Yep, he can tell ya when kind of car it is in the dark by lookin at the headlights...kinda freaky

17. What do you admire most about him? He is the best husband for me in the world and an awesome dad. He also can come up with the coolest designs for railings, trucks and can draw the plans out in like 5 minutes. its nuts

So the other day I caught daddy being a little weird with Jayden, he didnt' know i was recording till it was too late...whahahah

Two Month Check-up 1/8/09

Today we went in for Jayden's two month check-up. Can I just say we have a very 'fluffy' baby boy. He weighed in at 13 lbs 14 oz. Almost doubled his birth weight in two months. He grew 2 inches which I already knew that since his Pj's aren't long enough for him already. Besides him getting big, he had to get some of his immunizations. He wasn't too keen on that one. He got two shots in one leg and one in the other leg at the same time. It took him to the point of them putting on his band-aids that he realized the "ouch factor" he only scream cied for a few minutes, I guess i was pretty smart to give him a bit of Tylenol before we went. But all in all he did awesome and it went a lot smoother than we thought it would.

He's starting to enjoy his belly time and smiles and tries to giggle. He's starting to figure out that he can make noises other than his 'man burps' he's mastered. Overall he is just a super happy baby is doing a good job in making us think we want another one thinking they'll be just like him. (nice wish huh)
