Graduation

On May 28, 2010 my little brother was able to graduate from high school. It was really weird to think that my little brother is old enough to be done with high school. It was a good day besides it being super windy. Jayden wasn't exactly keen on keeping still so dad had to take him for a walk, and suprisinly he sat next dad for quite awhile, i had to take a picture to really believe that my crazy non stop child actually could sit still for loner than 10 seconds.

Being his normal silly self

Pretty sure Tyler thinks he's a pretty cool kid, notice the "i'm the cool kid smile"

Congrats little brother!

Just a "few" Pictures

These pictures are seriously out of order but i really don't care since i just don't really know how to do this blogging thing very well and i'm just happy that i got some of them uploaded so either way enjoy.

This is how Jayden loves to watch his movies, usually with a snack in one hand and his sippy in the other. All the same silly little boy.

Memorial Weekend we got with my family and went 4-wheeling and jayden seemed to love it. I think he loved just being outside more.

Jayden Loved helping Dad wash the car

Jayden though it was sooo fun to help daddy wash the car

At one point Jayden got the house and shot daddy right in the face, i wish i could of gotten it on camera but it was hilarious.

A few months ago we bought Jayden this and it has been a HUGE hit. He rides on and makes the Vroom sounds all over! He loved the box it came in as well.

We had gone to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point and Jayden seemed to have fun...when we were all day and he could run on the big lawn they have out front...

Jayden helping dad make his Golf Ball Cannon

Jayden was able to help dad drvie the truck at Grandma and Grandpa's Farm and He LOVED it.

18 months and such

Here I am again a few months behind on posting but since we don't have 'real' internet for our laptop I have to use my phone and since its a pain I don't do it often enough. But I decided to suck it up and do a quick post.

Jayden hit his 18 month mark on the 7th which means he can 'officially' go to nursery without me, but since I'm called to the nursery he'll just have to get by with me in there as well. He's finally starting to talk, saying real words. He'll say mom and dad only when it will truley benifit himself but he will say yes when he wants out of his highchair or wants something, hi is a big one. He'll say OW all the time even when he doesn't get hurt. Started say Moe (for more). He's discovered if he talks he"kk get what he wants or get attention cuz let's face it, first words are just cute and Jayden throws the cute card A LOT

I do have to mention a really strange thing that's happening on friday, never thought the day would come...but indeed it did. My little baby brother is graduating high school! I just can't believe it. Heck it was strange when he turned 18 in January but now graduating high school...strange. It seriously seems like he should still be in diapers or something. Just blows my mind how time flies. Heck 6 years ago I. Graduated high school...already 6 years.

Our little family is still doing good and just takin it day by day and can't wait for summer when it'll be warmer and less chance of freaky weather. (Then again we do I've in v-town so freaky weather comes with the territory). Well that's all I'll post for now. One I get to a puter I'll upload a ton of pics...until then have a great day

consitently inconsisent

Consistently inconsistent seems about what my blog updating is. At least I'm consistent about it. Anyway, we are all doing pretty good. We were finally able to sell our trailer. HUGE relief to finally be done with it and it'll be officially gone this comin weekend.
Jayden is 16 months nearly 17 months old and is finally starting to say a few words. Granted he believes he is speaking perfectly every time he "talks" so he tends to get a little impatient when I don't do what he "asked" me to do.
Were slowly trying to figure out exactly how we are going to remodel our kitchen. We are going to lay some flooring, paint our cabinets and re do our counter tops. We are jut in the process of choosing the colors. So when its done there will be some before and after pics for sure. I'm excited to see the final project.
That's all I'm wanting to type for now, not so easy updating on my phone but at least its a small update

Our silly J Dawg

Well life at the Batty's is going good, nothing to really blog about but i just had some random pics and a funny video of Jaydens new thing of throwing things and watching them bounce. Also, instead of picking things up off the floor with his hand, he just bends over and picks up with his mouth. It really is quite entertaining. Its a new game for us for sure....but of course we don't just throw stuff on the floor to witness it, of course not. :) P.S He actually does answer to J Dawg...hes a coo kid yo.. :)

Kinda blurry but just hanging out with daddy on a lazy saturday morning.

Loves to just chill against his chair and watch his movies

Being silly at the Musuem

Cheesin it up

You can't see it but he was starting to throw a fit, He thought it was funny for mommy to crunch against the snow then i put him down and he was not too happy with mommy anymore.

Slacker

We have been total slackers lately and haven't updated in over two months.  Not a whole lot to brag or update on really, just same old thing for the most part.  We had a great thanksgiving, Jayden wasn't exactly the happiest baby but it was a long day and so couldn't really blame the kid.
December 1 we celebrated our 3 year anniversary and didn't do anything extravagant but we did go ice skating and went to dinner, couldn't of asked for a better night.  December 14 the hubby became a quarter of a century old, the plus side to him turning 25, car insurance rates go down a bit :).
We also had an amazing Christmas, we were all spoiled and especially Jayden, but what can ya expect, thats what grandparents do right. He came out with some good loot and was actually a really good boy all day.  I was a loser and didn't really get any pictures but i had my hands full trying to force him to open boxes and stuff.  I really like the idea i was given of spreading out christmas for a week or so for the little ones. That way they can appreciate all the stuff and not get so overwhelmed with the unwrapping and the chaos.  I think i might try that this year.
We didn't do anything special for new years, expect we sat at home play guess this song/artist and had some sparkling grape juice. :)  all the while Jayden was sound asleep in his room.

Jayden is growing and learning by leaps and bounds.  He is sooo stubborn though, he doesn't want to talk, he'll say momma and dadda every once in a while but thats about it, he rather talk to himself than to us.  oh well,  as long as he entertains himself i shouldnt' complain too bad.  At his last Doctors appointment he was at 24 lbs and 32 inches tall.  The Weight has slowed down a bunch but he is starting to get tall  Pretty sure he'll be taller than both of us specially if he keeps going like he is. He is also getting lots of teeth. he is working on all four one year molars, and all 4 of his 'canine teeth'  so needless to say he's been crabby the past month but hopefully its almost over. Me and him just sit at home and play all day and watch silly movies.  I do have to recommend though a cute claymation type of cartoon.  Shaun the Sheep.  There is only 3 dvds i'm aware of but we found them at the library and not only does it entertain Jayden it entertains the grown ups as well. and it has a catchy theme song :)

Brandon is just working away up there at Simplot, He says he still really enjoys his work but i see him wanting to pursue his other love in his welding. :)  He was recently called in to the Priests Quorum as an advisor and he is LOVING it.  he now has an excuse to go and do all them wreckless crazy stuff that them older scouts gets to do, camping, repelling and all that fun stuff.  It sounds like they have a fun year planned ahead and if he has anything to do with they will be spending several days down in Moab or up in the Tetons.

I am still just staying at home with Jayden which is a chore in itself.  Between re-cleaning the front room, doing dishes, laundry basic housework and making sure a 14 month old boy is staying out of trouble by the time brandon gets home I am Pooped. But the work of the mom is never through, but i love every single moment.  I am still in the Nursery and I love it but i come home Exhausted, but i get to play with other peoples kids, sugar them up and then 2 hours later send thm home :)  Its nice since Jayden gets to go in there with me, and according to the bishop it'll be only a  6 month calling, but i hope its longer than that, so i'll just sit back and not complain.  The nice thing is that jayden is alreayd getting use to all the kids and seems to understand the concept that he isn't the only little kid in the world and is starting to interact with the others.  So, by the time i'm released i won't be so anxious about him being in there.

Well thats a short update of our Batty lives.  I'll try to get some pictures posted but no guarantees so our internet is so iffy. but i will do my best.
